When the order is marked paid —web, admin or point of sale— the commission is calculated and recorded, no manual entry.
Automatic reversal
Refunds (partials included) and cancellations adjust the commission proportionally; an already-accrued commission is never deleted, it is corrected with a full audit trail.

Choose what commission is paid on —subtotal excl. tax, subtotal incl. tax, order total or margin— to match how you actually pay.
